Something To Sneeze About

Did you know? Snoopy and Woodstock's friendship is one of the most beloved duos in comic history — but it took nearly 20 years for Woodstock to get his name!

Although Woodstock first appeared as Snoopy’s tiny yellow bird friend in the late 1960s, he wasn’t officially named Woodstock until 1970, after the famous Woodstock music festival of 1969. Charles Schulz liked the name and felt it fit the quirky, free-spirited bird perfectly.

Their dynamic is hilarious: Snoopy is the imaginative dreamer, and Woodstock, despite only speaking in tiny chicken-scratch marks, is his loyal sidekick — helping with everything from flying Snoopy’s doghouse to managing his imaginary writing career.

This is a second tissue box design with Snoopy and Woodstock together. Check our website to see both versions.
